Classrooms (presentations; 40 seats, fully equipped for audiovisual presentations)
Dawson Theatre (located on campus; seats 200)
Other Gathering Spaces (Atrium, left; Oliver's, right) The "Atrium Cafe" serves Tim Hortons coffee and an array of food, from guilty pleasures to healthy choices (including vegan). Oliver's is a cozy space for smaller presentations, receptions, or meetings.
Library Dawson's library is housed in the former congregation chamber of the convent, and provides a quiet space for reflection and study.
Peace Garden The Peace Garden is located on a quiet and secluded corner of the Dawson College main campus. The site was created as a space for meditation, connection, and rest, and as a memorial to the 13 September, 2006 shooting that occurred at Dawson College, killing one person and injuring others. The college takes an active stance against violence of all kinds. The Peace Garden is a testament to the college's commitment to bringing people together and providing space for thought and healing in the echoes of a tragedy.
Gender Neutral Restrooms Dawson College has two gender-neutral restrooms.
Dawson's campus, both indoor and outdoors, is entirely smoke-free.
Accessibility for People with Disabilities Dawson College is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Every floor of the college is reachable by escalator or elevator, and the college's most trafficked entrance (pictured below) features a ramp and automatic doors for easy access. The college is directly on the Metro line, and has its own entrance in the Atwater Metro station, though the station itself has only stairs. Persons with disabilities would want to use public transit or taxi from their hotel of choice. Should additional accommodations be necessary, the local arrangements chair would make sure that access to the college is available, convenient, and comfortable.
